Just recently played layers of fear, which I thought had some really good imagery. The game sucks and isn't really scary, being just a walking sim with no fail states, but the paintings and various effects and designs are really good.

Cry of Fear is still the scariest game I have ever played, but I haven't played all that many horror games. Condemned: Criminal Origins, FNaF, and maybe a few others I'm forgetting. Infra was so boring that I refunded it. 2dshit does not scare me.
