Given his age that's not exactly the case, I'm roughly the same age as him and I "dated" when I was ~14 and it sure as shit wasn't fun or innocent, in our generation girls were already mindbroken at that age and all dating 5+ guys at once since social media was sufficiently advanced to allow it

He did miss out on that innocent phase of dating but not for lack of trying at a younger age, but for being born too late to even have the chance to experience it, shit is grim and it's only getting grimmer
