I've been replaying Mass Effect 3 and found out recently you can shoot the sword out of a Phantom's hand. And it got me thinking, I never do that it anything like Bethesda RPGs or other games that have that option vs going for the head. Is there any games that actually reward going for limbs/weapons? Only thing I can think of is Dead Space

I feel like infinites are overhated in general. There's almost no difference between losing to an infinite and losing to a touch-of-death combo, but for some reason when a game has an infinite (no matter how hard it is to perform) people act like it's an existential crisis.
