What went so wrong? I thought it was prophesied that this game will save racing

I bought this game and even if i did play some NFS when i was younger i don't get how to drift effectively. The game is telling me about Clutch Kicking but since i am certainly no driver and i am not an expect in drifting i have no idea how the fuck to do it. I somehow luckshitted my way through some missions but i want some advice. Does anybody else play this?
