You know why I don't care about rich or poor people? Both are distracted by the numbers quantity game. If you're poor you're worried about not having enough quanities to pay the quantity man at the end of the month. You grind every day and try to save what you can only to have curveball after curveball knock the quantities down just enough to keep you down. The "curveballs" being your incessant want to become or destroy the rich guy one day. The only thing you really "learn" is how to manage quantities only you didn't start with the luck or the quantities rich guy had. You get "ahead" just in time to not enjoy it because now you're old and bitter from the time you wasted chasing money.

If you're rich your work becomes the quantities. You tell yourself "oh the quantities do the work for me, not the other way around", but I know and you know that's a load of horseshit. To maintain those quantities you have to be the miserly hawk watching over it and maintaining it constantly. You don't grow as a person and you don't learn anything new, you "live" a lavish lifestyle that you never really settle down into to enjoy because you constantly move and shake, pretty yourself up, having to meet insufferable people for meetings who can give you insight to investments you don't even really give a shit about. The only thing you "learn" is whatever you have the time and intelligence to even think about learning, which unfortunately doesn't give you many options since you only know how to count. You can try to make your hobby your job on the side but everyone else whose shoulders your stood on have more wisdom in making a product worth a piss. At least you'll be able to afford expensive aged alcohol to pass the time when you get old and can't enjoy anything else.
