Buddy, without Life is Strange being a success with Max and Chloe being as successful character paring together D9 wouldn't be shit as they are today. You can look up the SteamDB numbers and how both LiS original and even 2 have way more of a consistent recurring player count (not the peak at relase) than all D9 LiS games combined. Dontnod games carry hard the franchise, and D9/Square can do jack shit but to sloppily copy the success of the past games.
