I had a game against high elves last week where his 10 man spears refused to charge the murder saurus on cold one I planted one inch infront , and I refused to charge his spearmen with my saurus warriors (as I needed them to prevent a flank). So his spear mani and my saurusmani just glared at each other all game from about 8 away.

But that’s more incidental tactics rather than deliberate due to changes.
