DCAing into BTC served you as a savings account that generated more wealth for you in two years than any standard savings account could. Your still fortunate to have had the money for the repair when you needed it as opposed to taking out a shitty loan, signing up for a payment plan with the garage or taking the bus. While it may be painful dipping into an asset that you know has not reached it's full potential, you can still be grateful that you had the savings when you needed it.
