It depends, you have to remember the boys at EPD now grew up playing the same games we did
They have access to all the toys in the box (well the ones Nintendo fully owns at least)
That said I doubt they'd push for a new Star Fox just because but if they have a good gameplay mechanic that they feel fits with the series' identity
