I was assessing whether to lower the next wordcount to boost thread participation since yesterday some anon said their average was 500 words, but I ultimately deemed it unnecessary because we should always aim higher than our average. As for that anon, my advice would be to treat writing as a mental gym where you're always striving to pick up heavier weights. Good luck.
