call me crazy, but this looks about perfect for world roaming but mostly "floating condo" live aboard.

Make hull out of long narrow strips of welded steel. I like how its got separate elevated interior on each end of main deck for "home/office" or "office/workshop" etc.

20ft beam at main deck so you could carry a car on deck to roll off when tied up to pier.

Looks like adding an engine and big prop would be easy. Sails and Yardarms would make nice tenting or even trampoline for extra living area.

Just a few more modern features like Roller Yardarms for short handed sailing.

Probably need to bump up the headroom a bit from original, but still lots of living space for modest 100ft OAL for cheap docking.

These were designed to cross oceans and weather any storm.
