I used to be a diehard theist for majority of my life. Praying every single day, keeping up with religious scriptures and embodying them unto myself as best as I could, going to fucking church on Sundays, the works. It even got to the point where I was coming to this board and delving into religious apocrypha and esotericism, to the point where I genuinely started to consider myself to be some kind of enlightened prophet. If there was a second coming of Christ, Muhammad, Rama, or Buddha, it was probably going to be little ol' me.

Then I moved out of my parents house and experienced actual real life for the first time.

Fast forward a couple of years, and I now consider theism and most types of spiritualism to be incredibly mentally deficient and childish. Bygone necessities of a bygone age. Monsters of our own minds' making. What makes us so inclined to take comfort in such an obvious, egregious lie?

And so, for the past couple of days, I've been lurking this board trying to see what the fuck younger me found so alluring about this utter cave allegory of a site. Please, I beg you. Tell me why you believe in the spiritualism that you do. I must understand.
