I'm heading to Tokyo/Osaka for three weeks at the end of October/early November. I already have a bunch of the usual weeb stuff planned, but I would also love to take a bit of time to get out of the city once or twice, somewhere that's easy to get to by train. I'd love a nice hike. Last time in Osaka I went to Minoo for a day, which was really nice. Anything you guys have done near Tokyo or Osaka? Mount Takao seems like it could be nice, has anyone been?
