There's this huge tonal whiplash of the first 20 or so episodes coming off Zeta. My watch experience was pretty much everything in order in regards to the setting timeline, so initially ZZ felt incredibly tone deaf.
As a whole though ZZ is in an odd spot for me, while those first 20 or so episodes are not something I'm particularly fond of, but I did quite enjoy it after it got in line, notably around the time Silent Voice becomes the opening theme. So while ZZ was a positive experience for me by the end, I can fully understand people not tolerating 20~ episodes of a show before it gets back to what they want or expected. That's a massive flaw for something to have.
