Yeah but PKMN games aren't. As other anons said, Nintendo is really good with this kind of stuff and letting their games always be playable offline.
Not defending Nintendo btw. Just that a proper example would be fitting. In discussion about the SKG iniatitive it is important to avoid examples that are easy to mistake as a lie.

That is what I'm personally worried about. Especially when The Crew was the thing that launched this whole thing. The situation is so different in the end.
PirateSoftware kind of guys would knowingly take it out of context and insist you are demanding old Pokemon games being supported forever with trade servers etc.
And yeah I know it's from /g/ originally.
