Calories are all gematria and kabbalah Jewish non-sense. Nobody can prove jack shit about what a calorie is and how it relates to how your body converts it to energy. Stop thinking in terms of numbers so much. Just listen to your body. You should feel hungry often enough to lose weight. If you feel hungry, be assured that you are making progress. The longer you endure hunger pangs, the better. Personally, I recommend OMAD. Drink coffee, diet coke, and whatever else gets you through the rest of the day successfully. I recommend eating your meal at night.
