>they can deported.
Correct.
The Feds can deport anyone they want.
The ruling just said the STATES can't do it.
So the power is still on the Federal level.

Reading the ruling :
https://supreme.justia.com/cases/federal/us/457/202/
The Supreme court of the time just stated that it could not do so in order to support the FINANCIAL INTEREST of the state saying it was not a net positive to deny them public education on the grounds of having no money to pay for it.

What's fucked is that how are they able wrangle this under some equal protection clause AND say even though the state does not have the MONEY to educate these kids, they still have to do it for a net positive.

If you read into it, they just skipped over the issue without addressing the issue if that makes sense.

So yes, the Feds can deport them.
But the state still has to offer them education because it is a primary good.
Okay, GOOD for THEM.
But then what about OUR CHILDREN?
And why do WE have to pay for THEIR CHILDREN? (ㆆ _ ㆆ)

How can the court rule on people who don't have any jurisdiction to, if you have to be an American Citizen in order to have any say about protections afforded to that persons ?

By that very same measure, they have more privileges than citizens do as they don't even need to follow US laws.
