I think the Uta and Purirun thing is highlighted in episode 1.
If you think about it, there's no other Precure season that starts just focused on MC+fairy with no cameo or participation of other Cures, people noticed how unusual that first episode was, I knew it was made with something in mind in the future.
Also I agree with >>279648072 they share a lot of moments even if they're played off as "just gags" at first glance.
