the fact that they're the laziest developers on the planet is exactly why they'll have custom game support, TF2 and CS2's live service updates are entirely carried by community-made maps, same with all of dota's skins. plus if they get something like autochess which takes off and makes millions of dollars, they're in a position to make even more by poaching them.
