4k on a tiny 27inch monitor is just stupid, that's all. Unless you live in a shoebox and can't afford the space, or have to game in a humiliating location that is size-constrainted because you're whipped like pic rel.

Also without using upscaling tech you're compromising with god-awful scaling that isn't really supported by a lot of popular apps. Steam is a pain in the dick sometimes at 1440p with its tiny text, i'd dread to post or parse the steam discussion forums/friends groups at 4k.
