Threw was this young, blonde cashier working at my local market for a few months. We seemed to be around the same age. She caught an interest in me for just being nice usually and greeting her whenever I got in line then asking how she was doing sometimes and she'd usually complain about some of the customers being cunts.

Happened to go in once nearing closing time and she was on shift so we talked for a little bit before someone else came in. Got to know she was the "artsy" type or whatever and was basically working part time, then she started asking me questions about myself and shit, clearly interested, but for whatever reason she seemed to, by accident drop the fact she was married. She meant to say something like "I used to X before graduating..." but instead said "I used to X before marrying..." and then quickly corrected herself to "graduating". Don't know if she genuinely fucked up saying that or whatever but I looked at her hands and noticed she did have a ring on her ring finger so I just dropped any pretense of trying to ask her out on a date or even fuck her, despite her clearly seeming to be interested in me.

I just finished the conversation and left, then whenever I saw her any other time, I didn't bother to say behind and chat as I used to as much before and kept everything super basic. Haven't seen her anymore now, seems to have quit her job here.

I kind of feel like shit cause she was actually attractive and it's usually rare for me to just immediately like someone at first glance like that, but I really have no intention of going out and sleeping with someone else's woman, regardless if the context is that she's in an abusive relationship and just "wants to escape" or whatever. I'm just not willing to get myself into that shit.
