There's a big reason the Chinese, and Koreans and other SEA nations still HATE Japan with a passion, and quite frankly, Japan got off easier than Germany by a long shot. The US shielded and continues to shield the fuck out of them, especially with China now licking their chops at Indonesia or whatever SEA country they claim as "originally Chinese".
