I have motostrelki in my deck but they just dont cut it as true cheap infantry.
7 dudes with 6 armor at 60 supply a pop is just average tier.
Dont get me wrong, they're good since they have 5 rocket launchers, but theres not enough of them per unit to feel like you're getting a mass of soldiers that can absorb losses.
Now if reservists are like 15 dudes for 50 supply. That can really gum up the works on some advances. I can only think they've been hesitant in adding them because they cant figure out how to match these type of deployments with IFV that only carry a few people.
They should really let the extra ride on top, but thats a whole other mess with new gameplay features and needing to make them vulnerable to gun fire. For now, truck transport will do.
