This is better than anything I could've thought of.. It fits a lot with how Nozomi first treats Takumi compared to how he treated her. Having Takumi somewhat at fault for Karua's death is perfect suffering material for him aswell, especially if he knows nothing about Nozomi other than that she was Karua's sister.

Nozomi would be very firm about setting boundaries with Takumi (mostly spending as much time apart as possible even if they're in the same class) because seeing each other would only bring up bad memories. Takumi sees Nozomi and he's reminded of the girl he failed to save and Nozomi sees Takumi as the guy who basically killed her sister. Takumi would want to make up with Nozomi (and she probably does too, aware of how he wasn't really at fault depending on the circumstance but it's always easier to act on emotions all that stuff) but their relationship is urrghh, strained. I love it

I'd love to see this if you could find it again! I'm not that big on Karua/Nozomi but if Takumi's in pain, I'm obligated to check it out
