The main feats used for Darwin are when he successfully managed to adapt to Hela and stealing her powers (with Hela having a bunch of bullshit wank) but with Hulk he just couldn't. Even if you want to say "Darwin's evolution just keeps him alive" he tried to essentially turn into his attacker in both cases, but failed against Hulk.
