Just chiming in to agree with this statement. Of the movies only one is truly phenomenal, and only two are great. Both seasons of the show are absolute kino, with impressive plot that encapsulates all of the themes of the original film with added drama and action. As if that weren't enough, it has some of the best voice acting on this side of the pond, so it is one of the few cases where the English dub is superior to its Japanese counterpart. It is, put simply, spectacular
