People seem to see Kris as a male more often than not is because it's the same effect a stick figure provokes. Despite a stick figure not really being particularly masculine, people will think it's probably a guy because it lacks any outright feminine aspects. I guess it's because dogs tend to be more associated with masculinity. Maybe if Kris had more of a cat thing than a dog one, we might see more cat girl Kris more often.
