Why does Hellraiser 3 get so much shit? I understand it completely fucks up the tone and everything of those first 2 movies but even now 30 years removed from the release with all other sequels it has somehow remained a black sheep.

3 is a fun movie, its easily better than any sequel that came after it. It's stupid sure, and it makes the cenobites out to be some corny slasher villains but again if you accept that the first 2 movies are their own thing removed from every subsequent movie in the franchise, its a fun romp
