Trvthnuke. That's the primary reason I don't want to have kids. It feels fucking impossible to manage living on your own and paying for basic things like clothing and healthcare with minimum wage jobs, and higher paying jobs are extremely hard to access to. Things were cheaper back then and there were job opportunities for literally anyone to join, even without qualifications for it. You'd learn on the job and get paid for it.
But now we all know the "We'll train you for a month and we'll start paying you once we hire you!" bullshit.
