Only adapting main route will adds more mystery. The anime only people will just go "huh???" and encourages people to read the VN.
Honestly, just like Little Busters, the true ending is quite weak. The most interesting part of both works is unraveling the mystery like why certain characters behave the way they do, why the ending is even possible, and how the "world" even works
If it’s the same as now, just give Umi more goddamn screen time

Context matters. You could even just post "that" CG and tell people that Summer Pockets is a battle shounen VN, and some would believe it. They’d probably think the CG is just a random kino moment and not a spoiler
