The proof is the same as the proof that repressing doesn't work. We just have anecdotes about people that repressing doesn't work, but I've personally seen people post online about having gender issues throughout their life and then look at their post history and years later they never transitioned and live a normal life and are a father and living happy life. My evidence is as good as other people's evidence. There's no studies on this kinda stuff, but all that I'm saying is that it happens. A lot.
