I got to the top of the spire of blind faith & the last boss gayed the shit out of me

I want to damage with strohl on sniper
I use the 100% hit rating food and
it
just
misses
3 sniper abilities
in a row

and I have
no turns available
and no mp
to spam
my fucking synthesis

can someopne explain to me how hit works in this game? 100% hit rating food eaten = MISS MISS MISS(?) Boss is level 55 and im 44 if that matters, oN hard, it almsot died.
The food doesnt say shit about how many turns it is though, so I assumed it was for the whlole fight
