not all training campaign involves "defeating" a final boss. As it is basically a reflection of a hors racing history IRL but you can take alternate races like Kraft going to Oaks to face a buffed Cesario or Sakura Chiyono going to Arima Kinen and face a superpowered M.R CB

what is that those "final" boss in said uma tend to appear at the middle of the campaign which makes it a real challange rather than the final parts of the 3rd year. but that really depends on whos uma your training.
