Then they should expand her background and character instead of doing everything in their power to not acknowledge her existence. They would rather tear Rouge's character apart until she becomes what she is in Prime than use the character that has all the aspects they want from a 2nd girl. When I say more organic relationship with Team Sonic, I mean she has pretty much an official dynamic with all of them with exception of Tails. Sonic, Amy, Knuckles, even Cream. It's prime material for being the 2nd main girl of the series. Meanwhile Rouge only really interacts with Knuckles and has to fight with her position beside Shadow and Team Dark that more people associate her with.
