Anon, that's kind of a retarded response. Why would it be mandatory to spend $50k+? OP has money and is willing to spend $65k on a vehicle. If you don't have a high income, you can just buy a nice Suburban for ~$15k. And you bought your current vehicle as well, dummy. It's not like it was free.

One of the biggest issues with packing your kids 3 across in a smaller car is safety. It's significantly less safe than having them in a big Suburban in their own separate seats.
