Best of luck. The comraderie isn't allways as it should be, but even if you do not like people in your unit and they do not like you in the end being forced to stay together 24/7 makes you know each other and what you can rely on each other for. Also being on the same page in regard to values and prioritising the group. Having been to civilian schooling after my time was very annoying at first. Unpunctuallity, not keeping appointments/cancelling last minute, not willing to do your part for the class. The last part was a big one, getting key,cleaning and not FUCKING PAYING INTO THE GROUP ACCOUNT for scheduled team activities. Everyone for themselves. I know I am wierd for expecting this of others, but the lack of enforcement behind rules and obligations drives me crazy.
