The last Nep game I played was HDN, and even there I found Noire my least favorite. PS was playing ball with all sorts of games as that time. Plus CH don't really have a say on Sony's behavior, so I don't think it's fair to criticize Noire as a character in a story based on factors external to the people writing the stories, specially when the mainline games were written when censorship was less of an issue and I don't think Noire's character has changed that much between, say, V and SvS.
That said I do like fanart that relates whatever is going on in real game industry with the neps. It's always fun to see.

It's certainly part of what makes the few interactions between the CPUs in the original so good, and why I think a mk2 prequel that shows how they became friendly enough to fight together would be good.
