steam input and proton or whatever the linux thing is called doesn't compare to spending billions on subsidized hardware and game development. People complain about exclusives, including me, but without the tens of millions they put into every exclusives budget, they probably wouldn't be as good. That being said a lot of their actual first party games are garbage but that's another issue.
Imagine if valve still made games as a main part of their business or if they just paid some people to make new games.
