I was already in the US Navy, deployed on a ship that could launch helicopters/VTOL aircraft, along with partially sinking its stern and opening its welldeck to launch amphibious craft. This ship also carried 3500 marines and they could be offloaded in very short order with built in air support. The ship was covered in guns, anti air missiles and two CIWS phalanx guns to shoot projectiles down (it was my job during general quarters to reload one of them in battle)
It wasnt shaped like a japanese robot but if you just want to ride on the deadliest tech on the planet you already can
