I think the argument is that it’s a rat race between Agnes & Elaine on who the true ‘heroine’ is with both sides wanting to be vindicated. Falcom clearly bases their decisions around what’s popular so both parties have reason to take these polls more seriously. Like look at Lloyd’s placement in CS4, despite having more importance, screentime & MC privilege than Elaine he scored outside the top ten. The Kuro polls are purely ship dominated with small outliers
