Flynn hates his own writing and writes himself into unfun corners and hates roboticization.
He used Mecha Sally to write Sally out of the comic for forced melodrama then had fuck-all idea for what to do with the character or the plots he had been building up. He built up Naugus as a serious threat only to have him job to Eggman indirectly. He got off-screen'd by a crossover comic.
