Gero never captured Lapis and Lazuli, but Krillin found and befriended them (and Konkichi) fairly early on. They're purely human in this. Lazuli went to Namek because Krillin and Lapis (and Piccolo) died when Lord Slug and Turles attacked Earth, so she wanted to be there to bring them back. She was one of the people that got displaced.

Cell especially has the absolute worst time when he wakes up and realizes Lapis and Lazuli aren't Android 17 and 18. He then gets Heat Dome'd. Funny thing is it wasn't even Trunks that did it, sort of.

It's sort of an OC but based on some obscure Dragon Ball Online thing.

QM tends to set fairly hi DCs for stuff like that, and she has workarounds but she also is willing to abide by things if they do pan out.

He and another time traveler were at least endeared to the very strange timeline after the people there shared a smoothie made from the Fruit of the Tree of Might that gave 'em a substantial power boost.
