Do you think GW made the "titans can use their arm guns to not participate in the game" rule so people wouldn't shoot them on the board and realise how depressingly bad they are?
There's also no consistency there. Turbo-laser is two barrels strapped together, has a 3" blast and S12 at 96" range. Add a third identical barrel and it loses blast, becomes S10, and drops to 82" range.
Meanwhile the volcano cannon is just a worse melta cannon and there's zero reason to ever use it.
Warlords, meanwhile, snap shoot at everything. But not to worry, since even if you weren't snap shooting your elite experienced titan crew that have been promoted from warhounds, through reavers, to a warlord... are still greenhorns with BS3 anyway, so you've got a 50/50 chance of missing even when not snap shooting.
I get that GW is trying to make titans "balanced" but they're titans. They should feel powerful when you field them and if that means a reaver has to be 2500 and a warlord has to be 4000 then so be it - you're not bringing a competent warlord at 3k anyway.
