It's all about dash management and it's gonna look different against different characters. The basic flowchart to try as you learn the matchup and get comfortable is
>Poke from midrange while your dash cools down
>When you have 2 dash, apply heal debuff
>Block the incoming panic flail the enemy will likely do
>If the fight feels winnable, vampire dash at them for the instant 5 meter
>If it seems risky, turn around and dash out
>Repeat
