Okay im happy we kinda agree on a few things. Naruto did think she was a freak for always following him and never looking him in the eye. I get that and Naruto only saw her as at most a friend when they were kids. The picture you posted was before Naruto did the kind meld with Hinata btw. Thats half the reason he fell in love with her. He realized she wasnt just a shy person to everyone. She was just like that with him because she like genuinely cared for him making the stamina you posted false. Something Naruto himself realized. After the movie they are depicted dating for a few months before Naruto realized he wanted to marry her so obviously the dating went well because they bothe ended up happy. Kishi isnt the best writer in the world and like I said before this isnt like an A+ example of a relationship. But it did have a bit of depth to it near the end with Naruto's realization of Hinata's feelings. He also was fighting for Hinata. Naruto was just also fighting for that genetic gift shit that was ignored like you said which was dumb and I won't forgive Kishi for it.
