>THE ENTIRE GAME IS A WASTE OF TIME YOU RETARDS.
Not only is a waste of time, but it is also "work". People spending hours in dungeons killing mobs or farming gold are "working" harder than many people work at "real jobs".
The difference between play and work is really whether what you're doing is enjoyable.
Moreover, you could argue that most things people do are ultimately a waste of time, but as long as it doesn't "feel" like a waste of time, you don't mind doing it. The moment you are aware it is a waste of time, it is drudgery and misery.
For example, you can grind a dungeon every waking hour for days on end, as long as you need something from it, you can have a good time. The moment you stop needing anything, you never want to go again, and hate every moment if someone drags you along to help them.
Thus, the reason GDKP is so good is because it never feels like a waste of time, even if you need nothing, because you always leave with something.
For example, my guild has attendance requirements for gear, so I basically have to go with my guild. Which was fine when I needed stuff, but now I don't, so I'm basically carrying my guild for free. A lot of people are the same, so everyone wants to bring alts. Which was fine until there were too many alts and we started wiping. So now I'm back to carrying my guild for free.
