I'm such a fucking retard and i'm still pissed about it today
>went fishing to a lake yesterday afternoon where i usually just fish with rainworms
>never caught there anything else besides some small fish
>yesterday decided to try out some new fishing maize flavor for next time
>whole afternoon nothing
>then throw some more maize to lure in fish
>thinking to myself that i should rather stick to rainworms here again
>suddenly the bobber goes nuts
>something is on
>it's a fucking prime carp
>beautiful as hell and around 4-5kg judging from the looks
>not a trophy fish but a great catch
>fuck i don't have a fishing net because i never caught/seen something as big here
>get the fish to the shore
>could already touch him
>want to grab him out with my hand
>be a retard and try to lift him some more with the line and oh my who would have thought the hook snaps away from line under the swivel
>he gets away
There was no other activity the whole afternoon besides that, he literally was gods gift for me but i fuck it up, even the weather changed when he snapped off as it started being windy as hell so the bobber didn't even stay still anymore
