None of these 'Christians' are ascetics or spiritual people as their Bible claims, they are prideful heathens that read the suffering of their apostles and of Jesus, live in times 100x more degenerate than Rome back then and still do nothing to oppose it... no, they even support it.
Their Christianity is like those of Calvinists, animalistic desire is simply substituted for greed as their sole purpose is materialistic success and work towards that end while keeping in line with some of the commandments of the bible (not all). They support the current system wholeheartedly without realizing it.
If any of the apostles, saints or real spiritually believing Christians were alive today they would be nonstop tortured by the things they saw, but these Christians just "grind away" for money ignoring everything and desiring something akin to a 50's movie representation of America. It's more of a cultural thing for them than a true religion. Then they restart the cycle of overconsumption. Even though they may look ascetic and frugal, their houses will be like castles. Nobody is more animalistic than these fools.
