It's incredibly easy to skill up, it immediately pays for itself, and it's kind of nutty being able to strip a boss down and force them to experience a defeat sequence. Someone at Bethesda had a vision with pickpocketing, and I'm finally all for it.

This too, running from a town after getting caught stripping some thane's wife is half of the experience. I'm not even upset if I'm caught, either I pay the guild fee and get off scot-free, or I use all of that stamina I've invested in and make a break for it into the wilderness (and possibly Bend Will a dragon and fly away).
