The writing quality as a whole has gotten so much worse since then. It's actually insane how Kafka got her quest in 1.3 and she's still a better written character than the vast majority of characters afterwards. Quantity over quality is genuinely fucking this game over and only slop eaters who have no standards are keeping it sustained.
